Biography

An agricultural extension Specialist with vast experience working on the Nigerian agricultural innovation system, its platforms and actors and also working with various organisations to promote rural livelihoods. She holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Extension and is currently a Professor and Head of  Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, University of Ilorin. She has been involved in research work with organisations such as the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (IITA), the Sasakawa African Fund for Extension Education (SAFE) and the African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS). She has published her research work widely and contributed to prestigious conferences such as AFAAS annual meetings, Women in Science Without Borders (WISWB), and the GlobeLics including Indonesia (2016), Greece (2017), and Ghana (2018). She is on the vice president, NigeriaLics. She is a reviewer to scholarly academic journal such as the, Rural Extension and Innovation Systems Journal, Published by the Australasia-Pacific Extension Network (APEN). Her research interests include Agricultural Innovation Systems, strengthening vulnerable groups in agrarian communities through innovation and gender issues in the agricultural innovation adoption process.
